Left Bank Cinema: The Bentley Effect

January 30 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm

£4 – £5
A group of protesters in front of a sunset, surrounded by tents and colourful flags on long poles.

The Bentley Effect documents the highs and lows of a peaceful and strategic community protest to keep a unique part of Australia gasfield-free. It captures the pressures of conflict with police and security workers, the techniques used in direct action and the unruly beauty of an intergenerational, carnival-esque protest movement, full of energy, playful stunts and knitting nanas.
