Sing in the wonderful space at Left Bank Leeds. Choir Director, Emma Sargison will lead the Pop-Up Choir and teach you a collection of fun songs that will lift the spirits and make you feel fab. No experience necessary, all welcome.
On the day you’ll learn songs from Erasure to Americana with some Soul and Jazz classics too. You’ll come away with a recorded arrangement and a better understanding of your voice. Led by Emma and accompanied by the MOBO Nominee, Leroy Johnson on piano and guitar, this will be an exciting afternoon and the bar will be open!

Emma is Leeds born and bred. She’s a qualified musician and has worked as a Choir Director, Singer and Teacher in Leeds, London and Sydney.
She is a Jazz Singer and brings improvisation and physical intelligence into her vocal coaching. She will help you find the energy in your voice and encourage communal singing with genuine connection and creativity.
She completed an MA project at Leeds Beckett University researching the musical and physical benefits of communal singing and will encourage you to develop your performance style, harmonise and have fun with other singers.
LEFT BANK CHOIR
Left Bank Choir is all about being inclusive, communal singing, voice yoga, developing harmonies and singing songs that make you feel good. Soul, folk, some jazz and lots of good vibes, come and sing in this beautiful space and make some new connections!
Left Bank Choir meet on Mondays 7:30-9pm (excluding bank holidays). It’s a friendly and informal choir with no auditions and you don’t need to be able to read music. To attend the Monday evening rehearsals please just pop along or email firstname.lastname@example.org for further details.
