Event Details

We’ve invited some of our favourite friends to host Half Term activities focused on art, creativity and self-expression.

Our half term week is packed with tons of fun activities to boost creative skills and get kids moving. You can come to as many sessions as you like – just select the tickets you need (and remember adults go free).

Please note that parents must stay on site with their children. Our cafe is open selling hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, salads, toasties, snacks and cake, so you’ll hopefully find something to keep you busy if you’re not joining in!

Here’s how the week looks:

Family Art Workshops with Megan Dobbyn

Our ever-popular family art sessions with local illustrator Megan let you get hands-on with crafts that everyone can put their own stamp on. There are two sessions available during the half term week, and all family members are welcome.

– Monday 26 October

10-12pm

– Thursday 29 October

10-12pm

Ping Pong 4 U

Not your average game of table tennis – these classes help kids build skills and work up to a rally via fun (and unexpected!) activities. Five spots per session, kids only.

Session 2: 2.45-3.45pm

Hip Hop Workshops with HelloHipHop and HyroGraff

Expect to get involved with breakdancing, rapping, graffiti art, DJing and more at these unique sessions with our favourite hip hop crew (they also host our monthly Lunch Breaks event!). Kids only.

Session 1: 10am-12pm

Session 2: 1-3pm

Street Dance with Jemma Mae

A fun street dance class with a spooky twist. We’ll learn some moves, play games and get bodies moving with high-energy dancing. Here’s a taste of what Jemma can do! Kids only.

– Wednesday 28 October

Session 1: 3-4pm

Session 2: 4.15-5.15pm

We’re a COVID-secure venue and have put social distancing measures in place to keep you safe during your time at Left Bank. You must wear a mask on entry and when walking around the space, but you can remove it when seated. Track and Trace is essential (please use the barcode on the front desk or the NHS app).

All money raised through this event will support the development of Left Bank Leeds Charitable Trust, (charity no. 1146734).

Please note, we take photos at our events for marketing purposes. If you would prefer not to appear in these, please let a member of staff know when you arrive so they can inform the photographer.
