Current Opportunities

Help little ones discover their creativity, gain experience that you can put on your CV or simply meet new people when you become one of our Messy Volunteers.

In 2019, we’re hosting Messy Easter, Messy Harvest and Messy Christmas. These lively events allow families with young children to make and do together inside our beautiful grade II* listed building.

If you’re a bit of a craft enthusiast and you love to interact with children, we want to hear from you. You’ll help us to design and deliver the events, ensuring the day is planned out and the crafts carefully prepped so that everyone has a great time.

On the day, you might be signing people in at the door, running a craft session at one of the tables or ushering families into the storytelling room (or all three, but not at the same time!).

To be part of the team, we’d love it if you could commit to all three events, which take place as follows:

Messy Easter – running on Easter Saturday
Messy Harvest – running in October, date to be confirmed
Messy Christmas – running on the last weekend before Christmas

Of course, if you can’t make all three but you’d still love to be involved, please do get in touch.

You’ll also need to attend a planning meeting and a craft preparation session for each event, which we’ll schedule at a mutually convenient time once the Messy team is established.

To get involved or find out more, please email Linda at linda@leftbankleeds.org.uk by Friday 1st March 2019.
