Join us & amazing artist Alice for our new Festive Still Life Course at Left Bank and embrace the art of still life with a holiday twist.

Designed and facilitated by Alice, this course guides you through seasonal compositions, each inspired by the warmth and tradition of the festive season. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you’ll receive expert guidance throughout the workshop.

Each week will offer an exploration of a new beautiful Still Life scene along side a new creative medium. Perfect for anyone looking for more direction in their sketchbook work, or some one that loves to create art but wants to explore more creative techniques!

WEEK 1 (5th Dec) - Sqraffito & Wax Resists

Experiment creating textures and drawings using the technique sgraffito & wax resists to create unique observational drawings!

WEEK 2 (12th Dec) - Mark Making & Drawing

Discover the art of mark marking and drawing - explore a range of new drawing techniques to challenge yourself and your idea of drawing.

WEEK 3 (19th Dec) - Positive and Negative Space

In the third week, you will explore the idea of positive and negative space within a still life image. Expanding how you consider form, colour and composition when drawing

Your tutor Alice, is a local artist who has a range of experience working with many people within the community on creative projects, and running workshops.
