HEALTHY HOLIDAYS AT LEFT BANK LEEDS ARE BACK THIS SUMMER!

Art Club is our specially designed sessions for older children. In each of these sessions the children will explore a new artist medium guided by local Leeds artists. These sessions are perfect for those kids who love getting creative and making their own art work. The sessions will be adaptable to all levels of abilities and above all else will be FUN!

30th July: Puppets and Marionettes with Kat - In this session your child will explore making puppets and marionettes with the ability to move. In this session your child will create flying bird puppets.

7th August: Comics with Kat- Explore elements of book making, and comic design with local illustrator Kat. In this session your child will learn the basics of creating their own book or zine to decorate and fill with creativity. Whether your child is in to comics, drawing or journaling Kat will help them explore their own interests through out the session.

28th August: Print Making with Silka - Throughout this session Silka will explore different elements of print making. Allowing the children to learn the basics of a few different printing techniques such as block printing, screen printing and more! From the session your child will get to create their own prints to take away!

29th August: Sculpting with Amelia - During this session with local sculptor and artist Amelia, the children will get creative with clay. Looking at modern sculpting techniques to create their own works of art to take home. ** Please bring along a Tupperware to transport home your sculpture**

Please note that there have been changes to how Leeds Community foundation are booking tickets to their Healthy Holidays sessions. In order to be inclusive of our community we have created extra spaces on the sessions for those not usually eligible for free activities. The tickets on our website are for children who are not eligible for the Healthy Holidays sessions.  

One ticket will include the following:

• A place on the Art Workshop
• One hot meal & Snacks

The session is suitable for all the family. Please book one ticket for each child attending the session. Do not book tickets for adults.

**PLEASE NOTE THAT PARENTS/GUARDIANS MUST REMAIN ON SITE THROUGH-OUT THE SESSION**

Parents are welcome to join in with the workshop and help with the craft activities, there will also be plenty of opportunity for a bit of relaxation, feel free to bring along a creative project or book while the kids are entertained. The Café will be open throughout the day, and we also have a Pay as you feel option on our menu if you fancy a spot of lunch!

** We are happy for you to take photographs at our events, however, please be aware that not all parents and carers are comfortable with their children’s images being shared on social media for a variety of reasons. Please be mindful of this when sharing, thank you.
