Join local creative Shannon Kee as she celebrates her first ever zine with a small dedicated launch. Silver-Zine: 25 years of Silverstein. From a fan’s perspective. is a celebration and deep dive of her time as a fan of her favourite band, Silverstein. The band is celebrating its 25th anniversary and Shannon made this zine to reflect on the impact they have had on her over the years. She will discuss why this band has meant so much to her since she was a teenager, the research and process that went into making the zine, and finish with a small discussion about fandoms and fan culture.
