Join us for a special International Women’s Day edition of our paper stencil screen-printing workshop! This welcoming and inclusive session is open to all, celebrating creativity and self-expression, with a special focus on women and LGBTQ+ voices.

Led by Jenny, a Fine Art graduate from the University of Leeds and a familiar face from our Café/Bar, this workshop will introduce you to the exciting world of screen-printing. Jenny specializes in this medium, and you can check out her work on Instagram at @niceisntit.

In this workshop, you’ll explore one-colour screen-printing using your own designs. We’ll begin with a demonstration of the process, followed by time to create your own paper stencil. Printing will take place in two rounds, giving everyone the flexibility to refine their work—or grab a drink from the bar!

🎨 You’ll leave with your own custom prints—perfect for sharing, gifting, or displaying at home.

This is a relaxed and welcoming space for all, especially those who are new to screen-printing. All materials will be provided, but we recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting a little messy! Feel free to bring inspiration, references, and ideas.

Our Café/Bar will be open all evening, serving drinks, food, and light snacks.

Accessibility:

Please be aware, these sessions are 18+ only due to the use of craft knives to cut stencils.
This activity is easiest standing up, and can require standing up for extended periods of time however can be adapted if necessary to stay seated. The process requires moderate arm strength but assistance can/will be provided to anyone who would find this difficult. All Materials for this workshop are provided, however we recommend that any attendees wear covering to protect your clothes. Our Café Bar will be open throughout the evening for light snacks and refreshments!
