This September we will celebrate everything about Hyde Park in Leeds, from its rich cultural history to the lively creative scene, its resident artists, musicians,performers and more!
From the 10th of September to the 11th of October, Left Bank will curate an extraordinary exhibition of creativity in all its forms created in and/or inspired by Hyde Park.
We are inviting creatives of all disciplines to submit works to be exhibited. We welcome creative work in all its forms for this exhibition, including 2D, 3D, film, music, poetry and performance. The work may reflect your experience and love of Hyde Park or may simply have been created in the area.
This Exhibition will launch as part of our 2024 Heritage Open Day on Tuesday the 10th September. The launch will include talks, performances and workshops and will be an opportunity for everyone to get together and celebrate the history and creativity at the heart of Hyde Park!

Call out deadline: Sunday 4th August – midnight
Framing and Display of Artwork: All appropriate submissions must be framed in white or black frames ready for installation.
Delivery of artwork: Successful artists will be required to deliver their artwork/submissions to Left Bank Leeds, Cardigan Road, LS6 1LS between the 2nd- 6th of September. Artwork can be delivered in person or posted to Left Bank. *Please note that any artwork not delivered before the 9th of September will not be included within the exhibition*
Biography: You will need to supply your name and a short bio including the inspiration for the piece submitted.
Collection of artworks: Collection of the artwork will be on the week commencing the 14th of October.Artists must be able to organise the collection of their Artworks within this time frame.
How many pieces can you submit? We will accept multiple submissions, however, please notes that not all submissions may be successful as we will prioritise providing as many people with the opportunity to exhibit before accepting additional submissions from a single person.
How big can your artwork be? We will be accepting work of all mediums and sizes.
