Happy New Year! We are back after a lovely break over the festive period and full of positive energy we want to share with you!

This month we have lots of FREE and FEEL-GOOD opportunities for you to come and do cool stuff with us! From fun family activities and a BACK TO SCHOOL DISCO to YOGA and brand new creative workshops, performances and our fave markets for a new year declutter, second-hand treasure and green goodness...gosh we've got it all going on to help us all shake off the January Blues and have a wonderful fresh start to the New Year!

Our cafe is open again today and ready for you to come in, plug in and play or work with us for as long as you like! There's a daily PAYF dish on the menu - nice and hot and vegan-y so you can eat, charge up and keep warm without spending any money. This week we also have lots of fun Healthy Holiday activities for kids on this week so watch out for the break dancing (also bring your headphones if you need to work or study!). This Friday we are very excited to be hosting an exclusive northern dance performance inspired by the concept of Solastalgia, a neologism referring to the distress caused by environmental change. Choreographer Kasia Witek creates a movement that aims to respond to the climate emergency we face today, fostering emotional resilience, hope and a sense of togetherness rather than anxiety and fear. Solastalgia follows Witek's previous work - one wall of me - that captures abstract forms to portray humanity's connection with nature. BIG FREE DISCO - FRIDAY 12TH JANUARY

ART EXHIBITION - DAWN WOOLLEY 'REBEL SELVES'

Our first exhibition of the year is opening on 10th January, an installation something between a stage set for an absurdist play, a hall of mirrors, and an exploded 3-dimensional photograph. Masks, garments, and props scatter the space, inviting visitors to play different characters and create queer selfies. Get your tickets to the launch HERE

Dawn will also be hosting a FREE workshop encouraging play with gender through character development and collage before modelling wearable collages and masks. Tickets for this workshop on 24th January available HERE

TRU GRIT WRESTLING - SATURDAY 13TH JANUARY
