It’s this Saturday! The Good Emotions Art Festival is coming to Left Bank, and we can’t wait. A day of creative performances, collaborations and a market, from a collective of local artists, it’s definitely not-to-be-missed.

We chatted with Seren, one of its organisers, all about the event and the very-ace lineup of local talent!

Hey Seren! Saturday is almost here; what can visitors expect?

A bit of everything! There’s an art market during the afternoon that doesn’t require tickets to attend. From 5PM onwards there’s going to be spoken word, drag acts, musicians, DJs and so much more.

We’ve really focused on getting as many people involved as possible. We wanted the event to be cross-disciplinary, bringing lots of talent together to experience each other's work.

And how does Left Bank as a space fit into the event?

It’s so different from other spaces and I think it opens up a bit more freedom — in terms of excitement, inspiration. Everyone gets really excited to be at that venue. 

What do you see for the future of the festival?

We threw this event together really last-minute; we thought, let’s just go for it. We’ll be using the festival as a base to get even more acts involved, do something concrete in the future and keep planning!
