We are delighted to be hosting Leeds Poetry Festival 2022 at Left Bank, after the success of last year's festival, we can't wait for this one, poets, spoken word artists and music...all that talent under one roof for a week is an incredible experience!

Today, the team have announced this years Poetry Competition... All the best entries will be printed in this years anthology to accompany the festival too.

The theme for this year’s competition and anthology is ‘Taking Up Space’ ... The beautiful thing about this theme is that it will mean something different to everyone.

Perhaps, for you it Is the desire to feel seen or heard or to be here and to live without fear or maybe it represents physical space, the lack or abundance of it...

....or do you just really love S P A C E?

Whatever it is, Leeds Poetry Festival want to hear about it!
